Years ago, my dream job turned into a living nightmare, and I felt stuck in a role where I just couldn’t get out.
As a corporate Christian, I knew I wasn’t being all who God had called me to be. I was entangled in office politics and gossip sessions and after getting passed over for a promotion, I checked out and started doing the bare minimum.
After a HUGE revelation and little luck in my job search, I was forced to try and work things out… And I’m so glad I did.
Let’s just say in less than a year, I increased my salary by 30%, got promoted, was placed on a leadership acceleration program and awarded 2 prestigious awards in the SAME year.
The truth is, God was calling me to greater things, but I was the one standing in my own way.
Ultimately, I want to see professionals have impactful, purposeful, and joyful careers and make a difference in the workplace, through sharing kingdom strategies.
